How to Play Dutch Blitz

Overview

Dutch Blitz is a fast-paced, real-time card game for 2–4 players. Everyone plays simultaneously — there are no turns! The goal is to be the first player to reach 75 points across multiple rounds.

Your Cards

• Blitz Pile (10 cards): Your main objective. Empty this pile to end the round ("call Blitz").
• Post Piles (3–4 piles): Build downward, alternating boy/girl cards. Boys = Red & Blue, Girls = Yellow & Green.
• Hand Pile: Flip 3 cards at a time onto the Wood pile.
• Wood Pile: Top card is playable. When the Hand runs out, cycle Wood back.

Dutch Piles (Center)

Shared by all players. Build upward from 1 to 10 in a single color. Anyone can play on any Dutch pile. Play a 1 to start a new pile.

Boy/Girl Alternation Rule

On Post piles, cards must alternate between "boy" (Red/Blue) and "girl" (Yellow/Green). This is like the red/black alternation in solitaire.

Scoring

• +1 point for each card you placed on Dutch piles
• −2 points per card remaining in your Blitz pile
• −20 points if your Blitz pile is untouched (all 10 cards)

How to Play Cards

Tap a card to select it, then tap the destination. Or drag and drop. Play from Blitz and Wood to Post or Dutch piles. Post tops can also go to Dutch piles or other Post piles.
